I turned the option to send an alert when an invoice becomes overdue off but QB is still sending these alerts. What should I do to definitely turn this option off?

Hi ap-ar. Nice to see a new user in the community. To answer your questions though, turning off the automated invoice reminder invoice is nice and easy. Just follow these quick steps:

  1. Go to Settings  and select Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Sales tab.
  3. Go to the Reminders section and select Edit ✏️.
  4. Unselect the Auto invoice reminder checkbox.
  5. Select Save

Now invoice reminders will no longer be sent automatically. If you need more info on the subject checks out the article on automating invoice reminders. Or if there are any other questions just leave a reply below I'll be happy to help. Have a great day.

Hi Steve, thanks for your fast answer.

Unfortunately, I can't see the Edit option as you described. I am sending what I see attached.

Is there an alternative way?

Hi Steve, thanks for you fast answer!

Unfortunately, I am not finding the "Edit" option as you described. I am sending what I see attached.

Is there an alternative way to turn it off?

Good Afternoon, @ap-ar

Thanks for reaching back out to the Community. Based on the screenshot you provided, you've already clicked the Edit (Pencil) icon from Steve's step #3 above. From there, you'll need to ensure that the "Email me a copy.." box isn't checked. This will turn off the feature to send an alert when an invoice becomes overdue

If this still doesn't resolve your issue, then I recommend clearing your browser's cache and cookies. This will allow QuickBooks to load as a fresh new page to remove any glitches that may be occurring in the product. Afterward, try the steps instructed above once again.

If you have any other questions or concerns, just let me know. I'm always here to lend a helping hand. Have a splendid day!
