I want my invoices to automatically have the ACH payment button on but it won't let me do it in settings. Help?

I want my invoices to automatically have the ACH payment button on but it won't let me do it in settings. Help

I'm here to help you turn on the ACH payment button in your invoices, @erin39.

 

To show the pay invoice button, you have to link your ACH payments account to QBO and choose the payment method on the invoice. If you haven't already, you'll need to sign up for QuickBooks Online Payments. If you already have, you only need to connect your existing account in QBO

 

The process will take about 24-28 hours, and you'll be notified via email once it's approved. From there, you can start sending invoices with the Pay Now button. 

 

Then, here's how to turn on and send online invoices in QBO:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Choose Sales on the left.
  4. Pick within Online delivery
  5. Hit the drop-down under Additional email options for invoices and choose Online invoice.
  6. Tick Save.

Is there a setting to get this checkbox selected by default as opposed to having to click it manually on every invoice?

It's great to see you joining in on this thread. I can help you set the payments option up automatically for each invoice in your account. 

 

All you need to do is go to the account settings and make a few changes. Don't worry. It's an easy process. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear (Settings) icon in the top right-hand corner. 
  2. Under the "Your Company" column, pick the Account and settings option. 
  3. Press the Sales tab. 
  4. In the "Invoice Payments" section, tap the Edit (Pencil) icon. 
  5. Make your selections. 
  6. When done, click Save
