I'm here to help you in canceling your QuickBooks Online account.
When we cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription, your data will be available in read-only access for one year from the date of cancellation. That said, you can still export or print your data. After a year, the system will permanently delete all your records.
If we cancel it during the trial period or if your trial expires, your data will be available in read-only access for 90 days before it will be permanently deleted.
You can follow the steps below in canceling your account:
- Click the Gear ⚙ icon.
- Choose Account and Settings.
- Select the Billing and subscription tab.
- In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online (select Cancel your trial if you're using the free trial version).
- Select the Continue to cancel button.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Click Submit and cancel subscription.
- Hit Got it.
