Allow me to share some information about running the current year and next year proposed budget in QuickBooks Online.
If you're trying to run a report that has the current year and the next year proposed budget, this isn't currently offered in QuickBooks Online. You'll need to pull up the report per budget, or you can export the report into Excel so you have a better view of the two budgets.
I can definitely see how this feature would be useful. As a team with a massive road-map, we have to pick new features based on the value they’ll add to the most users possible. I recommend sending this request straight to our product engineers. Your feedback and product suggestions will be used for coaching for our product developers.
