I want to suspend for now. How can I suspend account?

You can suspend your account by cancelling it, @cmitch199. Before that, I'd suggest printing your reports as your copies. Then, reactivate it later when you need it. I'll guide you through the process below.

To suspend your account:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account as an admin.
  2. Go to the Gear (Settings) icon at the upper right.
  3. Select Account and Settings under Your Company
  4. Go to Billing & Subscription from the left menu.
  5. Click Cancel subscription in the QuickBooks section.
  6. Choose Continue to Cancel, then hit Continue to Cancel again.
  7. Answer the exit survey questions.
  8. Select Submit and cancel subscription.
  9. Hit Got it.

For detailed instructions, check out this article: Cancel Your QBO Subscription or Trial

After that, we store your data for one year. When you're ready to use the service again, you'll be prompted to resubscribe as you log into your company. If not, please go back to the Billing and Subscription tab to complete this task. To learn more about this process, visit this article: How To Resubscribe or Reactivate QBO

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'll gladly help, @cmitch199.

I want to suspend for now. How can I suspend account?

Is there a way to download all the data as csv?

I'll share some insights about how downloading all data works in QuickBooks Online, @mlchan.

Please know that we can only export data from QBO through Excel files. However, you can look for a converter tool that can convert Excel data to a Comma Separated Value (CSV). You can visit our QuickBooks Apps page to look for the tool that best suits your needs.

Moreover, there are different ways to get your data out of QuickBooks. For your reports and lists, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙.
  2. Select Export data.
  3. On the Reports tab, set the date range.
  4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by turning the switch on or off.
  5. Tap Export to Excel.

You'll be prompted with confirmation that the data has been exported.

Here are some articles to help you through the process of exporting your data:

Additionally, you may also want to know if you need to back up your data with QBO. This article will provide more information about it: Do I need to back up my data with QuickBooks Online?

@mlchan

You can convert your data to QB Desktop file and use the trial version to access your historical data for good.
