which report will give me check num, name, date, and amount?

i would like to run a report that will give me check number-name of person to whom I wrote check- Amount of check-date of check?

The Check Detail report is the best way to get a list of your checks, @018. It shows everything you need in one place, including the check number, amount, and date.

 

Follow these steps to generate the Check Detail with Account report:

 

  1. Go to the Reports menu in QuickBooks.
  2. In the search bar, type "Check Detail" and then select the report from the list.
  3. Once the report is open, you'll see the Num, Source Name, Date, and Amount automatically. However, if it didn't show, you can go to the Columns.


     
  4. Check the boxes for Num, Source Name, Date, and Amount.
  5. You can also adjust the date range at the top of the report to see checks written within a specific period.
  6. Finally, click Run Report to generate the report with your selected criteria.
