The Check Detail report is the best way to get a list of your checks, @018. It shows everything you need in one place, including the check number, amount, and date.
Follow these steps to generate the Check Detail with Account report:
- Go to the Reports menu in QuickBooks.
- In the search bar, type "Check Detail" and then select the report from the list.
- Once the report is open, you'll see the Num, Source Name, Date, and Amount automatically. However, if it didn't show, you can go to the Columns.

- Check the boxes for Num, Source Name, Date, and Amount.
- You can also adjust the date range at the top of the report to see checks written within a specific period.
- Finally, click Run Report to generate the report with your selected criteria.
