Im new to quickbooks and am trying to figure out how to apply sales tax to all line items on an estimate or invoice without having manually clicking everyone of them.

Let's tag the item/product as taxable, sdlumber.

When setting up your items/products, you have an option to mark them as taxable. This way, you don't have to manually click on the Tax column when creating an invoice or estimate. You can follow these steps:

1. From the Sales tab, click on the Products and Services.
2. Locate the item and click on Edit.
3. On the Sales tax category drop-down, select Taxable.
4. Select Save and close.
