Imported invoices are showing up after being deleted

Invoices will no longer show if it's deleted, Jlinsley. This can be caused by too much cache. 


Once a website overloads from too much information or data, it causes unexpected results. We have a few steps to perform to fix it.


To start with, let's open QuickBooks Online using an incognito window. It's the best spot to identify web issues. These are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If you could no longer see the deleted transactions, go back to the main browser, then clear the cache. We advise our users to clear them out. This helps to refresh the program. 


Moreover, you can use a different browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.


Although, we can also check the Audit Log report. This way, we'll know if these transactions are recreated. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Audit Log.

If a user recreated the invoice and you wish to delete it, just open the transaction, click More, then Delete
