Improvement Request: QuickBooks, In the Pending Builds reports, please re-label or clearly identify "Qty" as the “To Be Built” quantity
Hi All –
Here's an improvement request for QuickBooks. If you feel this would be helpful to you, please reply or put a “cheer” vote.
QuickBooks, will you implement this change for the 2020 release of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?
Request: Please revise the 2 Pending Builds reports to re-label or clearly identify the "Qty" column as the “To Be Built” quantity. The quantities shown in the “Pending Builds” and “Pending Builds By Site” reports ARE the “To Be Built” quantities. Please re-label the “Qty” column to “To Be Built”. If there are issues with making that change, then at least add a subtitle to the 2 Pending Builds reports. Please add the subtitle “Quantity shown is the To Be Built quantity.”
Why? There are various terms used in QuickBooks, “To Be Built”, “On Pending Builds”, "On PO", "On Hand", etc. Users need to clearly understand what they’re viewing in QuickBooks, so they can make good business decisions. The current column header "Qty" is not specific enough.
Location of reports: Go to menu bar Reports – Inventory – there you’ll see reports “Pending Builds” and “Pending Builds By Site”.
