Intuit charge after a consumer 's payment. Why they charge without previous notice?

I received a payment from one of my customers. The last time Intuit charged a fee of $10, but this time they charged $151.86. I tried to get help but they always transfer me to another department and did not received support. Is any body with the same situation?

Intuit charge after a consumer 's payment. Why they charge without previous notice?

Hello there, @dovalesproductio.

I appreciate you dropping by here in the Community. Let me help you with your concern about the Intuit charges.

Just to clarify, did you use QuickBooks Payments to take online payments from your customers? If so, that's the reason why Intuit charges you a fee of $10.

QuickBooks released an update last year that on April 12, 2021, bank transfer (ACH) payments will be charged a 1% fee (max $10 per transaction). There will be no charges for credit card or debit card payments. They will be deposited at current rates.

Please know that QuickBooks Payments charges a fee each time you process a transaction. For more information, feel free to check out this article: What are the fees for QuickBooks Payments?

However, if you're not using QuickBooks Payments, I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can check on your account in a secure environment and verify what the charges are.

Also, our funding speed and cost are updated to be in line with the market standards. For more details about this, check out these links for guidance:

Keep me in the loop if you have any clarification about the ACH fee. I'm always around to help you. Wishing you more success in your business!
