items that are not at a inventory site are appearing on that inventory sites report

i have included a screenshot of the report

at some point this item was listed as arriving at this inventory site. we have removed and deleted all transactions that were relating that item to this inventory site and reinput them as brand new so that we would insure that there is no trace of it.

it still appears on the report.

I appreciate the actions that you've taken to get this matter sorted out, @JasonWhite.

I'm here to help ensure that the items which are not part of the inventory site will no longer show up on the report.

You can click the transactions that are still showing up in the report. This way, you can check if they are old or new transactions that are not deleted successfully.

Once verified, you may delete the transactions to prevent them from showing up on the inventory site report.

To learn more about managing and operating inventory sites in QuickBooks Desktop, you can always rely on these great links:

It'd also be best if you can attach a screenshot of the report that you've pulled up since it was not added successfully in this post.

I'll be around to help you if there's anything else you need deleting transactions in QBDT. You can always find me here. Have a good one!

I have attached the pdf of the report in a zip folder along with the report that pops up when you click on the item in the report.  I have also run a quick report on the item from the item list to show its history.

From what I can find there is no transaction (i only had 3 of these items so its not difficult to look through the transactions) that is linked to that inventory site in any way.

I included screen shots of the filters i used to customize the report

Hello, JasonWhite.

I'd like to share some steps. When running the report Inventory Stock Status by item, you'll want to filter the sites to only view the specific locations.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports Inventory > Inventory Stock Status by item.
  2. Click the Customize Report button.
  3. In the Modify Report: Physical Inventory Worksheet window, select Filters.
  4. Type Site in the search field and select Inventory Site.
  5. Choose Multiple Inventory sites and select the locations.
  6. Hit OK.

You can also check those items on how it was set up by following these steps:

  1. Go to List.
  2. Select Item list.
  3. Right-click on that item and to see how it was set up click Edit item.

I've added this article for additional information on how to edit the items: Add, edit, and delete items.

For any additional questions about QuickBooks reports, please post a reply here. I'll be around to help you out again.
