Got a problem insofar as it will not print either in accordance with our custom template which is enabled. If I go into the customise page - everything present and correct, but if I try printing or previewing a 'real' one - all manner of strange things going on like fields and lines missing altogether and some in there we don't want or need.
Thanks for reaching out to us here in the Community. I’m here to help ensure all the fields and lines will print on the invoice.
Issues like this are sometimes caused by your browser holding too much data. When this happens, it can result in odd behaviors within the product and may require us to clear out the cache.
Let's try some basic troubleshooting steps to help you get back on track. The first thing you'll need to do is open your account in a private browser or Incognito window. This allows you to browse the net without storing internet history and cookies.
Depending on the browser you're using, refer to these keyboard shortcuts:
For Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
For Google Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
For Safari, press Command + Shift + N.
If this works well, you'll need to clear your browser's cache. This will boost the performance of your browser.
If the issue persists, you can try uploading another custom template. This will help determine if the issue is with the template. You can refer to this article to visually guide you through the steps: How to import custom invoices.
If you get the same result, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Support Team. They have the tools to configure the setup of your template and make sure it prints all the invoice details.
Upon giving them a call, you can start printing the transaction with the complete information.
Be sure to let me know if you have additional concerns about working in QBO. I'll be around to keep helping. Have a great day.
