Invoice feature stopped working. Cannot see my invoices.

Hi there, spaeth94.

A typical browser's cache stores data from previous websites you've visited. However, as it collects information, it might cause display issues in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). This might be the reason the invoice feature stopped working and you're unable to see your invoices.

I suggest logging into your QBSE account using a private browser to see if we get the same thing. Browsing privately disables the cache from saving your browsing data, and it's a good way to check issues caused by a full cache.

Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using.

  • For Internet Explorer of Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.

  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.

  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

From there, I recommend going back to the Invoices menu at the left panel and start working with this feature. If you're able to see your invoices using a private browser, clear the cache of your regular browser. This eliminates the stored files so it helps the browser to function efficiently. If not, use other supported browsers.

Please check this article for additional information on how to create invoices to send to your clients for goods and services: Create an invoice in QuickBooks Self-Employed. This article also provides on how you can set up online payments so customers can pay you for their invoices electronically.

Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Wishing you and your business continued success.
