Welcome to the Community, @Watson.
You may have entered today's date in the Start date field, causing it now to show. When setting up a Recurring Invoice template, the Start date should be at least one day in the future.
Scheduled recurring transactions are automatically created during the first half of the day. Choosing a day in the future ensures that the first instance will be created on the day you've selected.
In this case, you can manually modify the template in the settings. Here's how:
- In QuickBooks Online (QBO), go to the Gear icon at the top right to get to the Recurring Transactions.
- Locate the template that you've created, then tick Edit under the Action column.
- Change the Start date, then click Save template to complete.
