Hello there, allprohandy.

I've checked our records and haven't seen any reported cases similar to yours. To better isolate this, let's resend the invoices if they can now receive the transaction. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Sales from the left navigation tab.
  2. In the All Sales tab or customer's profile, choose the Invoice that you want to resend.
  3. Click on Save and send (instead of Save and close).

If the same issue happens, please contact us directly. Our representatives can create an investigation for this issue. Please note that our Support Team is available from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM on weekdays and 6:00 AM until 3:00 PM on Saturday.

You can reach us through the contact details provided below.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click the Help icon in the upper right of the screen.
  3. Select Contact US on the pop-up.
  4. Enter what you're needing assistance with in the How can we help? field and choose Continue
  5. Click Get a callback.
  6. Enter your contact information.
  7. Select Call me.

Once they pay their invoices, you can now go ahead and record the payments into QuickBooks. See this article for more info: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

You can also run the Invoices and Received Payments report. These will show the open invoices and the payment associated with the paid invoices.

To know more information on how to get a snapshot of your business finances, you can check out this article: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.

I've added this article for your future task about personalizing your sales form: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

If you have other concerns, just comment below or post again. I'll be sure to get back to you.
