Is anyone else experiencing problems with the search function? Items (bill #, Inv. #, etc..) not showing up when searched.

Hi there, brufini.

 

These transactions might have been deleted. That’s why they’re not showing up when searched in QuickBooks. To check: 

 

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top. 
  2. Select Audit log under Tools. 
  3. Click Filter and select All users under User. 
  4. Set your desired dates. 
  5. Select Show only these events under Events. 
  6. Put a check-mark for Transaction. 
  7. Select Deleted/Voided Transactions for Show. 
  8. Click Apply. 


If they're not deleted, I’d recommend searching them again on a private window. There are times that the overloaded files stored in your browser can cause unusual behaviors like this.  


If these transactions showed up on a private gateway, you can go back to your default browser and clear its cache. Switching to a different one would also be helpful.
