Let me guide you in reviewing the receipt forwarding set up to avoid errors when emailing receipt images to your QuickBookss account.
The email address used to forward receipts needs to be the same one you use to sign in to QuickBooks. Here's how to review the set up:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Choose Receipt forwarding.
- Verify the email address via text message.
- Review the Your receipts must be sent from field. Use this email address to send emails to QuickBooks.
- Put a checkmark in the Email me when QuickBooks receives a receipt checkbox if you want to know when QuickBooks starts scanning your receipts.
- Click Done once finished.
Once completed, you'll want to use the email address you set up with to email receipt images to: receipts@quickbooks.com.
- Open your email service and create a new email.
- Attach receipt images or add them to the body of the email. You can attach as many as your email service allows.
- Send the email to receipts@quickbooks.com.
