Web-based platforms like QBO gather cache files for faster browsing. However, too much can cause expected behavior like the one that you've experienced issues with when entering invoices or recording payments. I recommend accessing your account using a private window. This can help determine if the problem is browser-related.

Once done, try entering the invoice or recording payment again. If it works, you can now go back to your regular browser and clear the browsing history of your regular web browser. This eliminates previously-stored browsing data that might have caused the issue. Otherwise, you can try using other supported browsers to be thorough.

In case you want to review the invoices and the payments received you can run the Invoices and Received Payments report. Just go to the Reports tab and enter the said report name.
