This has become critical since this is the last day of the month and we will not be able to issue invoices until it is fixed.  Please provide an update.

 

In the future, you should consider not doing major upgrades at the end of a month.

This has already been escalated to our product engineers, Mike.

 

We'll let you know once we receive updates about the issue. I'd also recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Customer Care Team. You'll be added to the list of affected users and will receive updates through email.

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right corner and select Contact us.
  2. Enter the details of the issue and click Continue.
  3. Choose how you want to reach them.
  4. Enter your personal information and get the phone number.

These steps were also provided by ShiellaGraceA on her earlier reply.

 

 We'd appreciate your patience as we work for a fix.

It is now April 1st and we still cannot enter our time and do billing.  This is costing us a lot of money for the delay.  Once this is fixed 130 employees will need go back and fix their time.  After that we will have to make sure that all fixes where done properly and we are not missing or incorrectly reporting time.  This delay will cause at least a week of delay in getting payments from customers, that is if it is fixed today.  I need an answer on when this will be fixed ASAP.

 

As for me contacting support, what is the point?  We are in Asia so your support hours are not easy to use.  Also since you say your engineers are already working on the problem, I dont see how it would fix things faster if we file a report there.

 

I have been a quick books customer for more than 20 years.  Since moving to the online version, there have been many ups and downs however this problem has impacted several businesses significantly and is causing me to think about finding another solution.

We have a new critcal issues that may be related to this.  Rates have been wiped out for most of our time entries resulting in 0 amounts.  I found this will checking for the extent of the problem for the projects.  More than 3000 time entries have no rates.  This cannot even be fixed by the employees since they cannot see their rates.  It can only be fixed by a senior manager which would take days and be very error prone!

In addition, I just discoved that the billing rate was zeroed out for more than 3,000 time entries for March.  This is even worse because my employees cannnot fix it since they do not see the billing rate.  I will call in the morning US time sicne I have no other choice.  But this will delay me getting paid by several weeks which will end up consting me a lot of money.  I hope that you can work on a better process to update your clod based services in the future.

Regarding your concern, it's still an on-going issue. Rest assured, our engineers are diligently looking for a permanent fix.

 

I still suggest reaching out to us so our engineers will know how many users are affected. Just follow the steps my colleagues provided at the top.

Just an update to the community.  I did call the support line on April 1st since I could not do my billing.  After much time on hold the engineers told my support rep that I should use tSheets instead.  I had over 9000 time entries and they suggested that we purchase tSheets for almost $1000 per month and then reenter all 9000 time entries.  Of course I did not do this and I will be looking for another time and billing solution.

 

FYI, they still haven't contacted me since about fixes to the projects or the rate which they say are two different issues.  I had to fix more than 4000 time entries manually myself on April 1 and 2 in order to do my billing.  For the month of April the rate is still missing from most of my time entries meaning I will have to manually edit them again at the end of the month.  Again, no contact from support about either of my issues.

 

I found a work around to the project issue if anyone else is having the problem.  I edited the project name to something like projectName_old the changed it back to just he previous name.  The projects showed back up in my list after that.

 

After being a dedicated QB user for more than 20 years, it is time to move on.  Not because of the issue, that happens.  But the lack of support or caring that they are affecting billing which pays payroll for 130+ employees is not acceptable by any standard.
