Is intuit going to waive fees for the time being?

Hi,Dmsclean.

I understand these are difficult times and would like to help you with any questions you have. Intuit's initiated several measures to help businesses. One of these measures is Supporting consumers, small businesses and communities as we face COVID-19 together. We also teamed up with GoFundMe to create a Small Business Relief Initiative. With this, small businesses can create fundraisers online and share their stories with others around the world. This way financial support can be given to those who need it, for help with covering business and employee-related expenses. I'm here if you have any other questions.

Sorry but Go Fund Me?  Are you kidding?  I have paid fees to quickbooks for 2 decades, not to mention getting creamed by the electronic payment fees, which should be capped in my opinion at $10, per transaction anything else is robbery.  Not to mention me and I'm sure a lot of other customers have repeatedly asked to be given the choice to charge the fee to the customer, if they want to rack up on credit card points, why should I pay?

Good evening, everyone.

There has been an update to the QuickBooks Online product about the FFCRA for entering paid leave time to employees affected by COVID-19. The following links will be able to help you with how to enter paid time leave due to Coronavirus.

- Pay Employees under the Family First Coronavirus Response Act

- What you need to know about the Families First Coronavirus Response Act.

We are still working to get updates to the rest of our products such as QuickBooks Desktop and Intuit Online Payroll. Those updates will be coming soon.

Thank you for your patience in the meantime and If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out here.

Is intuit going to waive fees for the time being?

I would have expected something by now - this conversation started almost a month ago. We are doing our best to stay open and pay our employees, we cannot afford the $70 monthly QBO fee. I tried to downgrade to a simpler plan but I would have to make all but 30 of my inventory items inactive.

Any suggestions on another accounting program that is online ?

Be well

thanks

Cindy

@cindy49

Consider this workaround

https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/install/what-discounts-is-intuit-offering-to-small...

Otherwise, you may switch to QB Desktop. You may purchase QB Pro 1 user for $300 directly or $200 thru a partner. It is a one time license.
