Hi there, @eric-hansen.

 

You're unable to automatically attach a copy of your warranty policy to all invoices and have them sent. You'll want to attach these forms manually to each transaction and send them. I'll guide you how.

 

  1. On the Invoice screen, click Attachments.
  2. Browse the file you want to attach, then click Open to add.
  3. Put a check-mark in the box beside Attach to email.
  4. Click Save and send.

Explore this 3rd party app. You may put your warranty policy as engagement letter and will be sent automatically with your estimate/quote/proposal. Once your customer approved it, the app will generate and release the invoice automatically.  It supports QBO.

In todays environment we smaller companies need to speed us our process.. If i want to make sure that i have a increase letter attached to each invoice, rather to manually attach it each time is a huge time saving. There should be a rule how long the attachment is valid for. What is the reasoning that there cant be some way to make a permanent attachment for an invoice? thank you in advance..

Attaching files should be done manually and that's how in the program, andyscllc.

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your feedback and suggestions.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Select Feedback for the Category.
