Good day, scottslong.

In QuickBooks Online, we're unable to create a duplicate account. What we can do is add a new user to the account. That way, both of you can access the same data and you're using different login credentials. You can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Manage users.
  2. Click Add user and select the user type.
  3. Select Next and enter the name and email address. Hit Save.

Once done, the new user will receive an email invitation. They need to accept it so they'll be able to access the account. Also, the things that they can do depend on the user type, and the number of users you can add depends on the QuickBooks plan. You can read these articles to learn more about this feature:

Comment again below if you have other questions. Have a great day!

@scottslong

You may open second QBO account with the same email address.

Then utilize a 3rd party migration tool to duplicate data from the first QBO account
