Is QBO going to fix the issue with price rules on invoices any time soon? If not I will start looking for new software today.

If I cannot apply price rules to QB invoices there is absolutely no need to use this program.

I understand that applying price rules in your invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is vital for your business, TimNBVS. I'm here to provide some helpful information on this matter.

QBO has released a new layout for our invoice wherein you can create and manage Price Rules in your account. However, applying it to an invoice is currently unavailable. I can see how this feature affects your business needs, therefore, I recommend sending Feedback to our Product Development team.

They will carefully consider this option and work towards meeting your business demands accordingly. Rest assured that our Product Development team is working nonstop to enhance our product and deliver the experience for all QuickBooks users. You can follow the following steps provided below to send a feature recommendation.

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top, then tap Feedback.
  2. Indicate your comments or suggestions.
  3. Then select Next to submit Feedback.

You can trace requests for features through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

Furthermore, I suggest scanning this article to know more about the new enhancement released in QBO's invoices: See what's new with estimates and invoices in QuickBooks Online

In addition, to stay updated with the latest information in QuickBooks, you can refer to this article: What's new in QuickBooks.

Let me know if you have more concerns about applying price rules in your invoices or other QBO-related inquiries. I'll be sure to answer them as soon as I get your reply, TimNBVS.

@TimNBVS As you can see from the Quickbooks rep's answer, Intuit has proven to be committed to removing useful features from their product while completely ignoring requests to implement vital features.

Yes, the time has come to move on to new software. During our business' search for our new option when Quickbooks started removing invoicing features last year, we discovered some good programs for much cheaper.

Freshbooks, Taxdome, and Xero were some.

Please share what software you find during your search!
