Is there a limit to the amount that can be charged on the QuickBooks Checking Debit card?

I also would like to know if my funds in QuickBooks Checking continue to earn interest while a charge is “pending”?

Great having you join us here in the Community, @hawaiiarchitect. I’ll help you with this concern about funds in QuickBooks Online.

Yes, I agree that there’s a limit on how you’ll be charged for your QuickBooks Checking Debit Card transactions. Regarding your interest, this depends on your account and the transactions you have.

To figure these things out, I recommend contacting our Merchant Services Support Team. This way, they'll be able to look further into your account to get those details for you.

Here’s how you can get in touch with them:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?) at the top right.
  3. Select or type Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us.

In the meantime, you can check out these guides for additional information that’ll help you manage your payment transactions:

Get back to me here if you have further questions about payment transactions in QBO. I'd be more than happy to answer it for you. Have a nice day.
