Is there a method to opt out of in QBO app advertising? The most recent "feature" is a "schedule payment" button right along side the save and close button.

Good morning, @mike186.

Thanks for reaching out. It's nice to see you here.

At this time, the only way to remove the ads within the product would be to click the X that appears on the marketing ads. I understand how this could be beneficial to you and your business. If you'd like, I can provide feedback to our product developers so this could be considered in a future update. However, you do have the option to unsubscribe from the marketing communications via mail, email, and phone. Below I've included the steps on how you can do this.

1. Click on the gear icon at the top.

2. Choose Account and Settings

3. In the Company tab, select marketing preferences next to Communications with Intuit

4. Put a check-mark next to the options you do not wish to receive marketing ads to.

Please let me know if there's anything else that I could assist you with. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your response. You can always reach out to the Community or me anytime you have questions or concerns. Take care and have a good one!

Hello,

Yes, please provide feedback to the QBO product manager and developers.  A method to turn-off in-app advertising is needed.  Combining advertising to closely with current working features of the app hurts small business productivity.  Examples are the "schedule payment" and "capital buttons".
