Yes, there's a way to update the submitted W-9 of your contractors. You can have them make the needed changes to their W-9 information. QuickBooks will automatically update their details in your QuickBooks Online account.

If their W-9 information doesn't sync, you can resend an invite to them. I know how to achieve this to get you back up.
To resend an invite:
- Go to the Payroll menu, and then choose Contractors.
- Select the contractor’s name.
- Click Send a reminder or Send email.
Once they receive the invitation, please have them fill out their W-9.
