Is there a way to get the Cash Flow Statement to display columns for each month of the year?

I'm trying to explain Cash Flow vs. Margin/Profit to non-accountants and have been asked to display the Cash Flow statement with separate columns for each month, instead of YTD.  Any suggestions on how to make this happen would be appreciated.

Thank you for posting here in Community @mclayton,

In Statement of Cash Flow report we're not able to customize it which shows each month statement. However, you can manually export each month financial statement to have a separate Statement of Cash Flow report by month as a workaround.

Let me walk you through the steps on how to export the Statement of Cash Flow report in QuickBooks Desktop. Here's how:

  1. Go to your Reports menu.
  2. Choose the Company and Financial tab, and select Statement of Cash Flows.
  3. Click the Excel button.
  4. Select either Create New Worksheet or Update Existing Worksheet.
  5. Click the Export button.

I'd also added an article that helps you customize your report. Also, you can memorize the report to save your modified statement.
