Is there a way to have the add tip field to the invoice payment page? I know we can have it show up on the sales receipt, but we use invoices and then receive payments.

Hello there @keafisher,

Let's add a line item for tips so we can include it in your invoices.

Before recording it to your invoice, you would need to choose an account to use for your tips.


Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then choose Account and Settings.
  2. Select Advanced.
  3. In the Chart of Accounts section, select the pencil icon.
  4. From the drop-down, choose your desired account for tips.
  5. Select Save.

 

Then, let’s create new service item and name it "Tips".

  1. Go to the Gear icon, and then select Product and Services.
  2. Select New.
  3. Choose Service.
  4. Input all the necessary information of the service.
  5. Click Save and close.

 

Once done, you can then locate Tips under the PRODUCT/SERVICE column of your invoice and add it from there.
