Is there a way to mark within QB when a receipt is cross referenced? In QB and the actual receipt. Very new to QB platform

The option to mark sales receipt for cross-reference is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

For now, you can enter a description in the Message displayed on sales receipt or Message displayed on statement field. This way, you can add your details to your sales receipt..
