Is there a way to post photos to a project?

Hey there, @Justin-ipad.

As of now, there are only a few places you can upload attachments (like a PDF, an image, or a photo from your mobile device) into QuickBooks Online. Depending on where you want to post photos in Projects, there's going to be a little bit of limitation. If you leave me a Reply below with more details in what you're wanting, I'd be happy to assist you further! In the meantime, I can show you where you can bring in your photos:

Option 1: The Attachments Page

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then Attachments.
  2. Drag/Drop the files or click on the Paper Clip icon on the top-left of the box.
  3. Once uploaded, it'll appear in the uploaded area for your review.
  4. This window also has the following features:
    • Batch Actions: Export and process transactions directly from this window
    • Export: Click on the Batch Action drop-down menu and you'll see an option to export.
    • Create Invoice or Create Expense: Click on the Batch Action drop-down menu and you'll see an option to create these transactions.
    • Print: Print the list of the attachments in your file.
    • Small Gear: Choose which columns are shown in this window.
    • Action: You can EditDelete or Create from the drop-down options in this column.

Option 2: Within A Transaction

  1. In the transaction window, scroll down to the bottom left-hand side. You'll see an Attachments field that you can drag/drop the attachment or you can click on Attachments.
  2. If you press on Show Existing, then it'll open the right-hand side drawer if you've previously uploaded the attachment. Just hit Add to bring this into your transaction.

Option 3: QuickBooks Online App

  1. Click on the blue icon in the left-hand menu. This will bring up a page for a New Expense.
  2. Press on the Camera icon, then Take Photo or Choose Existing.
  3. Once completed, the information will automatically save to your QuickBooks Online file.

Let me know if this helps! I'll keep an eye out for your response.
