Is there a way to remove this new QuickBooks Vendor Bill Notification from the Expenses page?

We do not want to use the new mutual QuickBooks User bill import. Why is there not an X to close that notification rather than having to click through it.

Hello there, pcchandf.

I want to ensure that my solution fits your concerns. That said, can you add a screenshot of the page that has the QuickBooks vendor bill notification?

I'll be keeping an eye on your response.

It's a notice located in the area I have highlighted in the JPG. The only way I can get it to go away is to click a Review button w/in the notice, go to the bill and click Do Not Import Bill. (I obviously already did that this morning so the notice itself is now gone for today.)
I don't even want the notice to begin with, but if it must be, there should be a close/X on the top-right of the notice to get rid of it rather than me having to go through all the other steps to close it out.

Thank you for the response and for providing us with more details about the notification that you're trying to remove, @pcchandf.

The notification that you've received is about the new feature we have added. It's about QuickBooks Online (QBO) customers that are currently receiving Invoices from other QBO users to automatically have these invoices made available within their account to be added as Bills.

This feature is added to several customers that have access to view and edit Expense transactions only. To know more about this newly added feature, check out this article: Accounts Payable automation in QuickBooks Online

The option to have a close or button will surely help you get rid of the notification faster, so I’ll take note of it. I also encourage you to leave feedback from within the product.

Here are the steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  2. Provide your product suggestion.
  3. Click on Next to submit feedback.

You can check out this article for more information about providing feedback to make the program better: How do I submit feedback?.

Once you've imported the bill, here's a guide that can help you record its payments: Enter bills and record bill payments in QuickBooks Online.

I'm always here if you need more help removing notifications or anything else. Just let me know by leaving a reply below. Have a great rest of the day!
