Issues with invoice details displayed on emailed invoices.

When I preview an invoice, I see are the figures in the amount columns, but not the product/service or descriptions that correspond to the amounts. My client called to complain that she didn't know which amount corresponded to which service because there was no itemization. During an online chat I was told it was a browser issue and that I should just try a different browser. I had the same problem all over again. How can I remedy this?

Let's make sure that the Product/Service column is selected in your invoice template.


Here are the steps:

  1. Click the Gear icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Under Your Company, click Custom Form Styles.
  3. Click the Edit link of the default invoice template.
  4. Click the Content tab, and then click the Activity section of the invoice to show the options.
  5. Under Columns, check the Product/Service box.
  6. Click Done.

Then, go back and preview the invoice to check if you see the Product/Service column.
