It's been 8 days since an invoice was marked "paid" and I have not seen the money in my linked account. What happened to my payment?

I'll provide further details regarding this, @grayson17

Here are the possible factors why you haven't seen the money in your linked account in the program:

  • Weekends and federal holidays
  • The time of the day when you enter the invoice
  • Financial institution where funds are deposited
  • Bank policies for verifying and processing electronic deposits

Since it's been eight days after the invoice was marked as paid, I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payments Customer Support Team. They have the necessary tools to check what happened to your payment and help resolve it. They are available from 6 am - 6 pm PT (Mondays to Fridays). I'll guide you how.

  1. Go to this link: Contact Payments Support
  2. Locate the QuickBooks Online with Payments & Merchant Service Center section.
  3. Sign in to your QBSE account.
  4. Select Assistant at the upper right.
  5. Type Talk to a human.
  6. Enter It's been 8 days since an invoice was marked "paid" and I have not seen the money in my linked account. What happened to my payment? in the next field.
  7. Choose either Message an agent or Get a callback to connect with a live agent.

The screenshot below shows you the last two steps.

You can always go to the Invoices menu to manage your sent and paid transactions. From there, you'll be able to edit, duplicate, send, print, delete, export them as PDF. For more details, visit this article: What Happens When I Send An Invoice?.

Also, you can visit this link to find out how long it takes to get payments you process in QBSE: Deposit Schedules.

The Community and I will be around to help if you have other concerns. Enjoy the rest of your day.
