Job data in Advanced Reporting

We are trying to create a report in advanced reporting that will show current customer AR balance in one column and total of all transactions booked to a job only if they are in a work in progress, current asset account. I am able to easily get the AR column using the template in Advanced reporting but whenever I try to edit an expression for the costs trying to only total transactions in the one GL account, I do not get any data. I currently get this information from the job profitability summary, then filtering that for the WIP GL account. We are hoping to find this information in advanced reporting so we can compare it to the customers AR balance. We currently are matching them in excel and hoping to avoid this manual process.

Job data in Advanced Reporting

I spent 4 hours this morning watching tutorials and reading about the advanced reporting features. I was hoping to get a little bit of advice on how to work the expressions in order to pull in the all transactions booked to a job in a certain GL account, so we can put it next to the AR balance on that job and compare the two.
