As an Accountant, you have access to all of the features available in your clients version of QuickBooks.
The browser's cache might have caused why you can't access the General Journal report. Performing a few browser troubleshooting steps can help us resolve this.
Let's log in using a private window and then access the report. If the private browser worked, we can clear your regular browser's cache to remove piled-up files so QuickBooks can function well. You can also use other browsers like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.
