I got some information for you about classes and how we can let the missing class appear on your Profit and Loss report, @Christine-850.
A Profit and Loss report is a financial statement that summarizes the revenues, costs, and expenses incurred during a specified period. Normally, your classes should show on the report except for those who are not associated with any transaction.
To fix this, let's check if this has something to do with your browser since sometimes, browsers store so much cache which causes the system to behave unnaturally. Let's log in to your account using a private window first.
Here's how to access incognito mode in some of the most commonly used web browsers:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
If you're able to see the missing class by browsing privately, it's safe to say that it's being caused by the browser. It can be fixed by
clearing your cache and cookies. In the event it continues occurring while using incognito, you'll initially have to try switching to another browsing application.
Here's a list of supported browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari 11 or newer
- Safari: Command + Option + P
Lastly, I'd like to include that QBO has usage limits and this applies to how many billable users, chart of accounts, locations, tags, and classes are allowed. To know how many classes you can add depending on your subscription, refer to this article: Learn about usage limits in QuickBooks Online.
Please keep us posted if you have additional questions about classes in QBO. It's our priority to assist you all the way. Keep safe.
