Let me provide some information on how your contractors will receive a notification after the 1099 forms are e-filed, marcushayle.
Once you file 1099 form, we will email or mail a printed copy to your contractors. If they haven't received a copy yet, we'll notify you of your filing status through email after you electronically filed the form after you e-filed the form. You can view the 1099 and provide it to your contractors instead. To do this, you can follow the steps below:
However, if you didn't e-file them, you can print copies and send each to your contractor. For more information and detailed steps on how to create and file 1099s. check out this article for your reference: Create And File 1099s With QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you need additional assistance with your 1099. I'd be happy to help.
Thanks for the response. My dashboard says efiled accepted 2/9/2023, email sent and 1099s mailed. Its now 02/26/2023 and no contractor to date has received any 1099 digitally or by mail. I know I can download and send them individually but it 26 people. Is there a way to resend them? They seem to be stuck somewhere just not sure where.
I have the same problem. I e-filed these on 1/22/24 and it says they were mailed to the contractors. At a meeting on Thursday I learned none of them have received them! I chatted into customer service and received a call from an agent. The agent told me she wasn't really ready for me yet...something about my call came to her before her systems were ready so she asked if she could call me back. I said yes. She never called. I pay for a service to be completed and these contractors haven't received their 1099s.
