I have a way to show up the balance in your Chart of Accounts and Account list. I'd be pleased to share the step-by-step instructions to help fix the problem.
There's a possibility that the Balance box is unchecked. That's why it does not show the totals for entries made in all the accounts. Follow the steps on how to check this setting:

Once confirmed and the issue persists, I'd recommend logging into your account through incognito. This way, we can verify if this is a browser-related problem.
Use the hotkeys below:
Once logged in, re-open the Chart of Accounts and Account List one at a time to verify if it's performing well. If you can see the balance, please return to your regular browser and press the CTRL+ Shift and Delete keys on the keyboard to clear the cache.
Furthermore, check out these articles below on how to personalize your Chart of Accounts and customize reports in QuickBooks:
If you have questions about QuickBooks, please feel free to notify me. I'd be happy to help you with anything related to the program, especially if you're having trouble with your account balances.
Only balance sheet accounts (assets, liabilities, and equity) have a current balance. Income statement accounts (income and expense) only have a balance between two specified dates so there is no current balance to show in your chart of accounts.
hi, i have a doubt why my Accounts Receivable is correct on chart of accounts but is not showing up on my trial balance? im learning and i review all the steps and looks like correct.

Elaine
Hi there. Let's configure your account and determine the cause of this and fix it immediately.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), we have to ensure that the date and accounting method are correct when running a report. Having incorrect filters and data might be the reason you're unable to see Accounts Receivable in the Trial Balance report.
Here's how:
After that, review if you can now see the Accounts Receivable account.
I also added this helpful resource that you can use as a guide in modifying your report to include only the details you need: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
I'm always here ready to lend a hand if you have other concerns managing your accounts in QuickBooks. Have a good one, and stay safe.
