In QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), we always refer to the Schedule C form to report your self-employed income and expenses.
As much as we'd like to provide the expense category to use for awards and cash prizes, I'd recommend consulting your accountant instead. Your accountant can provide more expert advice in dealing with these specific type of transactions.
You may want to refer to this article to learn more about categorizing other business expenses.
For the most updates Schedule C info, it's best to always check from the IRS website.
