My credit card balance on Quick Books Online keeps changing back to a certain number. I have made entries to correct it but after a day or two it reverts back. Help

My credit card balance on Quick Books Online keeps changing back to a certain number. I have made entries to correct it but after a day or two it reverts back. Help

Hi jack-hartley,

 

You'll want to use the Audit Log to keep track of your activities in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. This will also verify who made the changes in your entries. Here's how: 

  1. Click the Gear icon. 
  2. Select Audit Log.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow beside Filter.
  4. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  5. Click Apply.

You can also check if there are templates that were created for your recurring transactions.

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Under Lists, select Recurring Transactions.
  3. Double-check the template.
