QuickBooks analyzes all the information received for each entry to give you the best possible suggestions for accepting transactions. This is the reason the deposits are showing as transferred from an uncategorized asset.
When going through the Banking tab, you’re given the option to modify the transaction. You need to switch the radio button from Transfer to Add to see the Select Category box. From there, click the drop-down arrow and choose the correct posting account.
