My Home Depot Credit Acct automatically uploads the same transfers/credits multiple times per month. How do I fix this?

Thanks for visiting the Community, @psad.

 

We can manually exclude (delete) those duplicate transactions downloaded from Home Depot Credit Account in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Here's how:

 

  1. In QBO, go to the Banking menu at the left pane to get to the Banking page.
  2. Proceed to the For Review tab.
  3. Place a checkmark on the transactions to exclude.
  4. From the Batch actions drop-down, choose Exclude Selected.

 

The excluded transactions are listed on the Excluded tab for reference or review. To completely delete them, just place a checkmark on the transactions and click the Delete button.

After that, you can now review downloaded bank and credit card transactions and put them in the correct accounts. Check out this article for the detailed steps on how: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Wow, that was so easy I'm embarrassed. I'd like to know how to stop this repeating of transactions from occurring, but since the fix is so easy, maybe it doesn't matter.  Thanks!
