My invoice PDF doesn't look like the design

I am doing a free trial, and when I'm designing the invoice everything looks great. Then when I click to Preview the PDF, the Company Name, Bill To, activity description, amount due, invoice #, date, due date, and terms are very bold and really ugly. Why does it look different than it does on the screen when I'm designing. This one thing is reason enough to not continue the trial or pay for the service. There's no way I'm sending this to clients like this. I'm a design and photography company, so part of my brand is priding myself in good design. Anyone know what's going on?

Have you checked at the bottom of the invoice to make sure the template your previewing is the one you have been working on? Click Customize at the bottom of the invoice to select different templates.  (picture below) . The arrow denotes which template is set as the default and the one your viewing.

I'm having the exact same issue. Used Chrome, Firefox, Edge(eww) and the preview is different.

 Hello, tdurk8.

I appreciate you tried doing this on a different browser. Since you’re still having the issue, I’d recommend importing a custom form style.  To do so, you can follow the steps provide in this article: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Income-and-expenses/Import-custom-form-styles-for-invoices-o...

If the same issue continue after trying the steps above, it’d be best to contact our phone support team for further assistance. Here’s how:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online.
  2. Click Help at the very top.
  3. Click the Contact us button at the bottom part.
