My printer will only print my letterhead. Nothing else

My printer will only print my letterhead. Nothing else. I've rebooted QB2018 twice. It's worked for years and it just stopped about 3 weeks ago. Printer works fine with other apps

My printer will only print my letterhead. Nothing else

Hi there, @raydie.

Thanks for sharing your concern here in the Community. You've got me here to help share some steps to get this printing issue sorted out.

Are you using QuickBooks Desktop? If so, printing issues in QuickBooks Desktop can be caused by a variety of reasons, however, there are several resolutions to get this sorted out. To start with, let's make sure to check the following:

After that, you can try using Notepad to determine if your printer can print outside of QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. Select Start and browse to Notepad.
  2. Enter some text and choose File, then Print.
  3. Select the correct printer and select Print.

If that doesn't fix the issue, you can perform these steps below:

  1. Turn off the printer, restart your computer, and then turn the printer back on.
  2. Make sure the printer paper is loaded correctly.
  3. Select the Windows Start button, browse to the Control Panel, and double-click Printers and Faxes.
  4. If the printer shows Offline, right-click the printer and select Use Printer Online.
  5. Double-click the printer and if there are print jobs displayed in the queue, choose Printer, then Cancel All Documents.
  6. Close the window.
  7. Right-click the printer, choose Properties, and click Print Test Page.

For complete details about this process, please refer to this article: Resolve printing issues.

Also, here are some good reference about fixing printing issues that you can check out both in QuickBooks Online and in Desktop versions:

Lastly, if the issue persists after trying these steps above, I'd suggest getting in touch with our Customer Care Team. They have extra tools like screen-sharing that can help verify what's causing the issue.

These resources should help you print your QuickBooks transactions successfully.

Keep me posted if you have any other questions with this concern. I'll be around to help you out. Wishing you all the best.
