Hello @debkoltzbrown-gm,

Thank you for posting here in the Community. I can help you fix the issue with the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.

You can perform some troubleshooting steps to isolate and fix the issue. Please start by updating the app to the latest version.

To update using an android device:

  1. On your device, open the Google Play store.
  2. On the home screen, select the Menu ☰ icon.
  3. Select My apps & games.
  4. In the Updates tab, look for the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.
  5. If you see the option, select Update.

For iOS users, here's how:

  1. On your device, open the App Store.
  2. Select the Today tab, then select your profile.
  3. In the Available updates section, look for the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.
  4. If you see the option, select Update.

If you're using third-party antivirus apps or apps that boost memory or battery saving, they may interfere with mileage tracking. If you do, please add QuickBooks Self-Employed to the whitelist for these types of apps.
