My QuickBooks online is not working. I can’t change the date for and invoice and the amounts are incorrect. Example: the amount should be $1,000 but reads $10,000.

My QuickBooks online is not working. I can’t change the date for and invoice and the amounts are incorrect. Example: the amount should be $1,000 but reads $10,000.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I can understand how having issues with your dates not changing and amounts can be frustrating, but no worries, I'm happy to help you correct incorrect amounts in just a few easy steps. 

 

Let's start by trying some basic troubleshooting. Such as clearing the cache from your web browser. Web browsers collect cache to save time when loading repetitive data and images. These files can often become outdated and corrupted, causing issues like the one with your dates not changing and amounts showing $10,000 instead of $1,000. I've included the links for all supported browsers that contain the steps to clear the cache below. 

 

Once you've cleared the cache, close the web browser and open it back up to see if the dates can be changed and the amounts are corrected.
