My Subscription has been suspended. I want to downgrade and update billing info. How do I do this?

Hi there, @delmiller570.

 

Let me share ideas on how to update your billing information and downgrade your QuickBooks Online plan. 

 

First, you'll want to update your suspended QuickBooks Online account. Let me show you how:

 

  1. Go to Settings ⚙, then select Account and Settings.
  2. Select Billing & Subscription.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Update the appropriate fields in the Payment Information.
  5. Make sure the address in QuickBooks is the same as the one on your credit card statement.
  6. Once everything’s good, select Confirm card or Save.

 

Once done, you can downgrade to another plan. You can also check out this comparison chart to review what will go away when you switch. To downgrade your plan, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online as an admin.
  2. Go to the Gear ⚙ and select Account and Settings.
  3. Click Billing & Subscription
  4. Select Downgrade. The "Change my plan" page will show your current plan, and other plans you can downgrade to. 
  5. Go to qbo.intuit.com/app/changeplan if Can't see the downgrade option? 
  6. Find the new plan you want, then select Choose Plan.
  7. Review your new plan, if you’re ready to downgrade, select Next.
  8. Follow the steps in "Take care of possible downgrade issues" section, then go back here once you're done.
  9. Review your new billing details then select Change plan to complete the process.
  10. Sign out of QuickBooks Online.
