You’ve reached the right place and I’ll be able to show you how to edit inventory.

Let me guide you how:

  1. Select the Search icon.
  2. Choose Advanced Search.
  3. From the All Transactions drop-down menu, pick Inventory Quantity Adjustment.
  4. Click the appropriate filters from the different drop-down menus, then locate Search.
  5. Find the adjustment you want to change.
  6. Change the Adjustment date and the Inventory adjustment account if necessary.
  7. If you need to add inventory items, enter the details in the New adjustments section.
  8. Or to make changes to the previous adjustment, edit the details in the Previous adjustments section.
  9. Go to Save and close.

If there are additional questions or concerns, let me know.

@heidipav

Afaik, Square Inventory is the inventory management module only to integrate with other Square product (e.g Square Invoice, SquareSpace) at the moment. Consider using another inventory management app supporting QBO.

If you opt to use Square Inventory, you have to migrate the data as inventory adjustment into QBO by an importer tool.

That is correct, the Square sync app does not do inventory adjustments in QBO.

Thanks so much for your quick response.  I know how to make inventory adjustments in QuickBooks.  I guess my question was more in reference to how other businesses handle the disconnect between Square inventory and QuickBooks inventory.
