On occasion, when searching for a specific invoice, it does not appear. The invoice is in the system, but it just doesn't appear when using the search mechanism.

Hello there, @jeff25.

Let's use the correct filter in the Advanced Search page to drill down the long list of invoices when looking for a specific transaction.

First, searching an invoice by location using the magnifying glass icon will only show basic transactions using a single piece of criteria. To view invoices by a specific location, you can generate the Sales by Location Detail report.

To use the Advanced Search feature, here’s how:

  1. Click on the magnifying glass.
  2. Click on the Advanced Search hyperlink.
  3. Filter your search by selecting InvoicesMemo, and Contains or Equals.
  4. Enter the invoice you’re looking for in the field.
  5. Click on the blue Search button.
  6. You can also click on Add Filter to filter the dates.
