How do I reprint invoices in bulk?

How do I reprint invoices in bulk? We went to do our first print and had 175 invoices print 2 per sheet. I assume there has to be a simple way to reprint invoices but can't find it.

If there is no way to re-print, I'm glad I have 60 days to go back to my old system. :-(

How do I reprint invoices in bulk?

Once you indicate that a batch of invoices printed properly, they are marked as printed (not to print later.) If you did that and they did not print correctly, that was a mistake.

At this point you can open each invoice and print it individually, or open each invoice, mark it to print later, and then print them as a batch (though I'm not sure why that would be better.)

Here's how:

1. Go to File menu at the upper left, and choose Print Forms on the drop-down.
2. Pick Invoices, then put a checkmark on the invoices that you want to include in this batch print job.
3. Click the Print Labels button if you wish to add mailing labels.
4. Select OK, and choose the printer that you want to use.
5. Click the Preview button to check how it looks, then Print if satisfied.

I also added some sample screenshots below for your visual guide.

How do I reprint invoices in bulk?

The answer given in December is actually not correct.  There is a way to reprint invoices.

Under Customer, select Income Tracker.  Select at the top any of the colored boxes that apply to your situation (i.e., Overdue, Paid in the last 30 days, etc.).  Select all the invoices on the left or just the ones you want to reprint.  Select from the Batch Actions Drop Down at the bottom right.  Choose Invoices. Then Choose your printer.  Done!

Hope this helps going forward.

How do I reprint invoices in bulk?

Yes.  After you select Invoices, you then have the option of selecting the printer name under the setting tab.  Instead of choosing your inhouse printer, choose the PDF Option.  A browser folder should pop up to save it to a file folder.  You can then send the file to your outside printer via email.

Hope that helps.

How do I reprint invoices in bulk?

This works, however, when I go to EMAIL them in bulk rather than print, there is no option to select the email template that I need to use and therefore I have to send each one individually.  Suggestions for allowing email template selection?  Thanks!

How do I reprint invoices in bulk?

We're glad the steps in printing multiple invoices helped you, Strive.

QuickBooks allows you to email the invoices by batch. One thing that requires you to do is to to select the email template manually. I'll show you the steps:

  1. Click on File.
  2. Select Send Forms.
  3. Select the transactions.
  4. From the TEMPLATE drop-down, choose the email template for each transaction manually.
  5. Then, click on Send Now

What I can do is to send it in as feedback to our product developers. I'll let them know that it'd be great to have an option to select an email template for all forms.

If you have any questions about sending forms, please let us know.

How do I reprint invoices in bulk?

It's so close.  In my case we need to reprint a batch for a client from 2013.  Income tracker won't let you sort by Customer/Invoice/Date Range/Paid  It's like QB stopped just short of the income tracker page being very useful.

I have a different workaround to share, mlvotaw.

Since we're unable to customize the date range in the Income Tracker, you can use All Dates, select a specific customer, and sort the list by types of transactions. Here's how:

  1. Click the drop-down arrow for Customer:Job and select the name of the customer.
  2. Proceed to the drop-down arrow for Type and select Invoices.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow for Date and select All.

Then, scroll down all the way where the transactions from 2013 are listed. Select the invoices that you need to re-print and click Batch Actions.

Just in case you can't see this option, make sure that your QuickBooks is on the latest maintenance release. Here's an article on how to do it: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.

Once updated, go back to the Income Tracker and check if you can already see the sort the list of transactions. Let me know if you need anything else.

I like the function of the income tracker, but how you do make it go past 30 days? I've tried everything and it will not show any invoice paid greater than 30 days.

We're glad you liked it, AMofficemanager.

As of now, you're unable to customize the date range. However, to view past the 30 days, you can change the date range to All.

You can follow the steps provided by my colleague above to filter the changes.

Check out this article for future reference: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

I'll be here if you have additional questions.

I am also looking for a way to REprint bulk invoices.  I need to print all PAID invoices to one customer for all of 2019, showing the "paid" stamp on them.  I'm not finding ANY easy way to do this in batch.

Hey there, @KimJ. Congrats on your first post in the Community!

I've reviewed the thread and my colleagues and other Community members have provided all available solutions. I recommend going through the thread and try each to see which works for you.

I'm just a click away should none of those solutions work for you. Cheers to a safe and productive week ahead.

How do I reprint invoices in bulk?

I'm trying this - as I've got to print all invoices for a customer for 2019.

I've tried changing the date range multiple ways - and it will only list the invoices for this year? (2020)

How do I reprint invoices in bulk?

Hello @krg1,

Let's manually open your customer's invoice and put a checkmark on the Print Later tickbox before printing them. This way, you can print your customer's invoice in batch.

After doing so, you can go to the Print Forms window and print your customer's invoices from there. To do so:

  1. Go to File.
  2. Tap Print Forms.
  3. Hit Invoices.
  4. Select the invoices you wanted to print.
  5. Click OK.

Here's an article you can read to learn more bout how you can print your transactions in batch: Batch print forms in QuickBooks Desktop.

I've got you this article for the detailed steps in case you'll bump into errors when printing your transactions: Troubleshoot PDF and Print problems with QuickBooks Desktop.

Let me know in the comment section down below if you have any other concerns. I'll be always around ready to lend a helping hand.

This is a great tip; however, it only shows open transactions, not paid - even though you filter "all". :(
